Un petit peu à propos de moi
My name is Kelly Heniff and I am a senior Elementary Education major at St. Norbert College. For my second student teaching placement, I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to teach in an elementary classroom in a suburb of Paris, France. I was very fortunate to have the oppotunity to teach English to children in southern France, near Bordeaux, for a month this past summer, but now I am thrilled for a new challenge of teaching in all French. I am passionate about bilingual and French education, so I have been determined to teach in France since I came to SNC and I cannot believe that it is all becoming a reality! Thank you for following my adventures!

OBJECTIVES
As I embark on this adventure, I have a few personal, cultural, and professional goals, which you can find here.

1. To gain a greater understanding of the French culture and the education system
2. To explore and implement a variety of teaching methods in a new environment and in another language
3. To gain an appreciation of the differences in family life and society between the U.S. and France through living with a host family
4. To challenge myself to live outside of my comfort zone
5. To expand the interest in studying French education at St. Norbert College by establishing a partnership with a school in France
6. To be able to integrate an international perspective into my classroom after returning from France
